Hadith #44541
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَمْ يُعْطَوْا فِي الدُّنْيَا خَيْرًا مِنْ الْيَقِينِ وَالْمُعَافَاةِ فَسَلُوهُمَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
Ismail bin Ibrahim told us, on the authority of Yunus, on the authority of Al-Hasan, that Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, addressed the people and said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Peace and blessings be upon him, O people, people have not been given anything better in this world than certainty and well-being, so ask them from God Almighty. Glory be to Him...
