Hadith #12777
وقد أُخبرنا [قتيبة بن سعيد] و[إسحاق بن إبراهيم]، وهذه لفظ قتيبة، قالا كلاهما؛ أخبرنا [وكئ] عن [شعيبة] عن [سعيد بن أبي بردة] عن [أبيه] عن [أبو موسى] قال: «أرسلني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مع معاذ بن جبل إلى أرض اليمن، فقلت: يا رسول الله، ما الشراب الذي يُصنع في بلادنا والذي يُسمى عادةً معزر من القمح، والشراب الذي يُسمى عادةً بِتُوعَة من العسل؟» قال: «كل مسكر حرام».
And it has been told to us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] and [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] and this is the lafadz of Qutaibah, both of them said; has told us [Waki'] from [Syu'bah] from [Sa'id bin Abi Burdah] from [his father] from [Abu Musa] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam sent me with Mu'adz bin Jabal to the land of Yemen, then I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the drink made in our country which is usually called miizr from (the juice of) wheat and the drink which is usually called bit'u (which is made) from honey?" He replied: "Every intoxicating drink is haram
