Sahih Muslim — Hadith #14880

Nasr bin Ali Jahdami narrated to us the hadith, saying: Bishr bin Mufaddal narrated to us the hadith, and Ali bin Hajar Saadi narrated to us the hadith, saying: Ismail bin Ali narrated to us the hadith, both of them (Bishr bin Mufaddal and Ibn Ali) narrated from Saeed bin Yazid, who narrated from Abu Nadrah, who narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There will be a caliph among you who will give away wealth in heaps and will not count it.” And in the narration of (Ali) bin Hajar, instead of يَحْثُو الْمَالَ, it is يَحْثُو الْمَالَ, يَحْثُو الْمَالَ (the meaning is the same).
