Sahih Muslim — Hadith #14903

Yahya ibn Yahya and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shayba narrated to us. (Yahya said: "Ahberana" and Abu Bakr said: "Haddesana". They said): Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us. Abu Kamil al-Jahderi also narrated to us. (He said): Abu Awana narrated to us. Both narrators narrated from Simaq, who narrated from Jabir ibn Samura. Jabir said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, liars will appear before the Day of Judgment." There is the following addition in the hadith of Ahu'l-Ahwas: "I said to him: 'Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?' He replied: 'Yes!'"
