روى لي محمد بن مصنى (قائلاً): روى لنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان، الذي روى عن منصور بن صفية، الذي روى عن أمه، التي روى عن عائشة (قالت): "توفي رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وقد شبعنا من شيئين أسودين (أي الماء والتمر)".
Muhammad ibn Musanna narrated to me (saying): Abdurrahman narrated to us from Sufyan, who narrated from Mansur ibn Safiyyah, who narrated from his mother, who narrated from Aisha (who said): "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. We were satiated with two black things (i.e., water and dried dates)."
