Hadith #15120
Has told me [Hajjaj bin Asy Sya'ir] has told us [Abdushshamad bin Abdulwarits] has told me [my father] has told us [Husain] from [Qatadah] from [Abdullah bin Ma'bad Az ZImmani] from [Abdullah bin Utbah] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud]: "Those are the people who always pray and seek their Rabb for wasilah." (Al Israa`: 57) He said: As regards a group of Arabs, they worshiped a group of jinn and then the genies converted to Islam while the people continued to worship them without them realizing it. Then the verse came down: "Those are the people who always pray and seek their Lord for mercy." (Al Israa`:)
