Sunan Abi Dawud — Hadith #19823

Mahmoud bin Khalid told us, Al-Faryabi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, he said, Alqamah bin Marthad told us, on the authority of Sulayman bin Buraydah, on the authority of Ibn Ya`mar, with this hadith he increases and decreases. He said, “What is Islam?” He said “Establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing Hajj to the House, fasting the month of Ramadan, and washing for ritual impurity.” Abu Dawud said, “Alqamah is Murji’.” .
