Hadith #47746
Muhammad ibn Isma'il told us, saying: Abu Nu'aym told us, saying: Al-Mas'udi told us, on the authority of 'Uthman ibn Muslim ibn Hurmuz, on the authority of Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, on the authority of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was neither tall nor short, with thick hands and feet, and a large head. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a long, flowing gait. When he walked, he swayed gracefully, as if descending a slope. I have never seen anyone like him before or since.
Sufyan ibn Waki’ narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, on the authority of al-Mas’udi, with this chain of narration, something similar in meaning.
