حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ هُوَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُكْثِرُ دَهْنَ رَأْسِهِ وَتَسْرِيحَ لِحْيَتِهِ، وَيُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ حَتَّى كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ، ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ.
Yusuf bin Issa narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-Rabi’ bin Subayh narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Aban, he is Al-Raqqashi, on the authority of Anas bin Malik said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to apply a lot of oil to his head and comb his beard, and used to wear a lot of masks until it was as if his garment was a garment.
