حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ، كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ‏.‏
Yusuf ibn Isa told us, saying: Waki’ told us, saying: Al-Rabi’ ibn Sabih told us, on the authority of Yazid ibn Aban, on the authority of Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to wear a face covering frequently, as if his garment was the garment of an oil merchant.
