حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ ابْنٍ لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْكُلُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ، الثَّلاثِ وَيَلْعَقُهُنَّ‏.‏
Harun ibn Ishaq al-Hamdani told us: Abda ibn Sulayman told us, on the authority of Hisham ibn Urwa, on the authority of Ibn Ka’b ibn Malik, on the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to eat with his three fingers and lick them.
