Hadith #5710
روى ابن عباس وعائشة رضي الله عنهما: أن أبا بكر رضي الله عنه قبّل جبين النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بعد وفاته. وأضافت عائشة رضي الله عنها: وضعنا دواءً في أحد أفواهه، فأشار إلينا ألا نعطيه إياه. فقلنا: إنه لا يحب الدواء، كحال معظم المرضى. فلما أفاق قال: ألم أنهيكم عن إجباري على تناول الدواء؟ قلنا: ظننا أن ذلك لأن المريض لا يحب الدواء. فقال: على كل من في البيت أن يأخذ هذا الدواء من فمه وأنا حاضر، إلا العباس رضي الله عنه، لأنه لم يشهد ما فعلتم.
Narrated by Ibn `Abbas and `Aisha: Abu Bakr kissed the Prophet's (ﷺ) forehead after his death. `Aisha added: We placed some medicine on one side of his mouth, but he began to signal us not to give it to him. We said, "He doesn't like medicine, like most sick people." But when he regained consciousness, he said, "Didn't I forbid you from forcing medicine into my mouth?" We replied, "We thought it was simply because a sick person doesn't like medicine." He said, "Everyone in the house should take this medicine from their mouth in my presence, except for Al-`Abbas, because he did not witness what you did."
