Hadith #7580
روى أبو سعيد الأشج، والواقع، والأمش، والمسيب بن رافع، وأمير بن عبده أن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: إن الشيطان يتخذ صورة رجل، ثم يأتي الناس فيحدثهم بحديث كاذب، فيتفرقون. فيقول رجل منهم: سمعت حديثاً من رجل، أعرف وجهه ولكني لا أعرف اسمه، كان يروي حديثاً.
Abu Saeed Ashj, Waqi', 'A'mash, Musayyib bin Rafi', 'Amir bin Abduh narrated that: Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The devil takes the form of a man, then comes to the people and tells them a false hadith, then they scatter. A man among them says: I heard (a hadith) from a man, I recognize his face but I do not know his name, he was narrating a hadith.
