Hadith #7620
روى سلمة بن شبيب: حدثنا الحميدي، حدثنا سفيان، قال: سمعت رجلاً يسأل جابراً عن الآية: "لذلك لا أغادر هذه الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يقضي الله لي وهو خير الحكام". قال جابر: "هذا تأويل لهذه الآيات"، وكان كاذباً، لأنها تتعلق بإخوة يوسف عليه السلام.
Narrated by Salamah bin Shabib: Al-Humaydi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, he said: I heard a man ask Jabir about the verse: “Thus, I will never leave this land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges.” Jabir said: “That is an interpretation of these verses,” and he was lying, for it concerned the brothers of Joseph, peace be upon him.
