Hadith #7629
روى عمرو بن علي أبو حفص: قال: سمعت معاذ بن معاذ يقول: قلتُ لعوف بن أبي جميلة: لقد حدثنا عمرو بن عبيد عن الحسن أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «من حمل علينا السلاح فليس منا». فقال: كذب عمرو والله، إنما أراد أن يتخذ هذا الكلام مبرراً لرأيه السلبي.
Narrated by Amr bin Ali Abu Hafs: He said that he heard Mu'adh bin Mu'adh say: I said to Awf bin Abi Jamilah: "Indeed, Amr bin Ubayd reported to us, from al-Hasan, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever takes up arms against us is not one of us.'" He said: "Amr lied, by Allah. In reality, he wanted to use this to justify his negative opinion."
