Hadith #8444
وقال أويس: أخبرني علاء، قال: سمعت من أبي وأبي صائب، وكلاهما من أصحاب أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، قالا: قال أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «من صلى ولم يقرأ سورة الفاتحة فقد نقصت». قال هذه الجملة ثلاث مرات... وهذا مثل حديث الشيوخ المذكورين (مالك، وسفيان، وابن جريج).
And Owais said: Alaa informed me, he said: I heard from my father and Abu Sa'ib, both of whom were companions of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), they both said that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever prays and does not recite Surah Al-Fatihah, then it is incomplete.' He said this sentence three times.... The following is like the hadith of the above-mentioned teachers (Malik, Sufyan, Ibn Jurayj)
