عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ( قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ حَتَّى دَخَلَ نَخْلاً فَسَجَدَ فَأَطَالَ السُّجُودَ حَتَّى خِفْتُ أَوْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ قَدْ تَوَفَّاهُ أَوْ قَبَضَهُ، قَالَ: فَجِئْتُ أَنْظُرُ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ: «مَا لَكَ يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمنِ؟» قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ -عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام- قَالَ لِي: أَلَا أُبَشِّرُكَ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ -عَزَّ وَجَلَّ- يَقُولُ لَكَ: مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ». ( حم, هق, يع ) حسن لغيره
On the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out, and I followed him until he entered a palm tree, and he prostrated and prolonged his prostration until I became afraid, or feared. That God had taken him to death or taken him. He said: So I came to see, and he raised his head and said: “What is the matter with you, O Abdul Rahman?” He said: So I mentioned That was for him, and he said: “Gabriel - peace be upon him - said to me: Shall I not bring you good tidings? Indeed, God - the Mighty and Majestic - says to you: Whoever prays upon you, I will pray upon him and whoever greets you.” I greeted him. (Ham, Haq, Ya') is good for others
