روى لنا عمرو الناقد: روى لنا عبده بن سليمان: قال عمرو: وروى لنا يحيى بن يمان عن هشام بن عروة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة: "إنا نحن آل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم كنا نمضي شهراً أحياناً دون أن نشعل ناراً، وكان رزقنا التمر والماء".
Amr al-Naqid narrated to us (saying): Abda ibn Sulayman narrated to us (saying): Amr said: Yahya ibn Yaman also narrated to us from Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, from Aisha (saying): "Indeed, we, the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), would sometimes go a month without lighting a fire. Our sustenance was only dried dates and water."
