Hadith #24260
بعد أن أخبرنا [محمد] قال؛ أخبرنا [حبان] قال؛ أخبرنا [عبد الله] عن [معمر] عن [حماد] و[قتادة] عن رجل قال لآخر: أريد أن أستأجرك إلى مكة مقابل مبلغ كذا وكذا، إذا ذهبت شهرًا. أو كذا وكذا - ثم يذكر المدة -، فستحصل على مبلغ إضافي كذا وكذا. كلاهما يرى أنه لا حرج في ذلك، ولا يحبان أن يقولا: سأستأجر منك مقابل مبلغ كذا وكذا، إذا ذهبت أكثر من شهر فسأخفض لك الإيجار بمقدار كذا وكذا.
Having informed us [Muhammad] he said; has told us [Hibban] he said; has told us [Abdullah] from [Ma'mar] from [Hammad] and [Qatadah] about a man who said to another person, 'I want to hire you (to take) to Mecca for such and such a fee, if I go for a month. Or so and so - then he mentions the length of time -, then you will get additional such and such.' They both see that there is nothing wrong with that, and they don't like to say, 'I will rent from you for such and such a wage, if I go more than one month then I will reduce your rent so and so.
