Hadith #24291
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ فَذَكَرَهُ نَحْوَهُ. رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ طَارِقٍ.
Ahmad bin Sulaiman told us, he said, Ubayd Allah bin Musa told us, he said: Israel informed us, on the authority of Tariq, on the authority of Saeed, the Messenger of God forbade it. May God bless him and grant him peace, on the authority of Muhaqilah, Sa`id said, so he mentioned something similar to it. It was narrated by Sufyan al-Thawri on the authority of Tariq.
