Hadith #25550
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ مُقَطَّعًا وَعَنْ رُكُوبِ الْمَيَاثِرِ .
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah that :The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade wearing gold unless it was broken (into smaller pieces), and (he forbade) riding on Al-Mayathir
