Hadith #34880
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، بَنَى رَحْبَةً فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ تُسَمَّى الْبُطَيْحَاءَ وَقَالَ مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَلْغَطَ أَوْ يُنْشِدَ شِعْرًا أَوْ يَرْفَعَ صَوْتَهُ فَلْيَخْرُجْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الرَّحْبَةِ .
Rewat 93. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: He said, "Whoever speaks in vain or recites a poem or speaks out loud, let him go to the square."
