Hadith #48000
Ishaq bin Musa told us, he said: Ma’an told us, he said: Malik told us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, that he told him that he asked Aisha, how was the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Ramadan? She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was not praying. May God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, add more than eleven rak’ahs in Ramadan or at any other time. He prays four. Do not ask about their beauty or length. Then he prays four. Do not ask about their beauty and height. Then he prayed three times. Aisha said: I said: O Messenger of God, should I sleep before I He became nervous? He said: O Aisha, my eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep.
