Hadith #48025
Qutayba bin Saeed told us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abdullah bin Shaqiq, he said: I asked Aisha about fasting. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. She said: He used to fast to the point that we say he has fasted, and he would break his fast until we say he has broken his fast. She said: And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not fast. May God bless him and grant him peace, a complete month since he arrived at Medina, except Ramadan.
