Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah — Hadith #48070

Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri told us, he said: Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri told us, he said: Laith bin Saad told us, he said: Abu Othman Al-Walid bin Abi Al-Walid, on the authority of Suleiman bin Kharijah, on the authority of Kharijah bin Zayd bin Thabit, he said: A group entered upon Zayd bin Thabit, so they said to him: Tell us the hadiths of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: What shall I tell you? I was his neighbor, and whenever the revelation descended upon him, he would send To me, so I wrote it down for him, so when we mentioned this world, he would mention it with us, and when we mentioned the Hereafter, he would mention it with us, and when we mentioned Food was mentioned with us, so I tell you all of this on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
