حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَطَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنُ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَصُومُ مِنْ غُرَّةِ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَامٍ، وَقَلَّمَا كَانَ يُفْطِرُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ.
Al-Qasim bin Dinar Al-Kufi told us, he said: Ubayd Allah bin Musa told us, and Talq bin Ghanam, on the authority of Shayban, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zur bin Hubaysh, On the authority of Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to fast three days on the first day of every month, and he rarely broke his fast on the first day of each month.
