حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَضَّاحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا بَعْدَ أَنْ تَزُولَ الشَّمْسُ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَاعَةٌ تُفْتَحُ فِيهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ لِي فِيهَا عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ.
Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Muhammad bin Muslim bin Abi Al-Wadah narrated to us, on the authority of Abdul Karim Al-Jazari, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Sa’ib, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray four times after the sun had set, before noon and said: It is an hour in which the gates of heaven are opened, and I would like for my good deeds to ascend during it.
