Hadith #48040
Muhammad bin Ismail told us, he said: Abdullah bin Saleh told us, he said: Muawiyah bin Saleh told me, on the authority of Amr bin Qais, that He heard Asim bin Humaid, who said: I heard Awf bin Malik, saying: I was with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, one night, and he fasted, then he performed ablution. Then he got up to pray, so I stood up with him and he started to open the cow. He did not pass by a sign of mercy unless he stopped and asked, and he did not pass by a sign of punishment unless he stopped. So he sought refuge, then he bowed, and remained bowing as long as he stood, and he said in his bowing: Glory be to Him, the One of power, the kingdom, and pride. And greatness, then he prostrated as much as he bowed, and said in his prostration: Glory be to Him of power and kingdom, and pride and greatness. Then he recited Al Imran, then a surah. He does the same in every rak’ah.
