حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ، يَقُولُ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ، وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ: إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُبِينًا لِيَغْفِرَ لَكَ اللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ، قَالَ: فَقَرَأَ وَرَجَّعَ، قَالَ: وَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ: لَوْلا أَنْ يَجْتَمِعَ النَّاسُ عَلَيَّ لأَخَذْتُ لَكُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الصَّوْتِ أَوْ قَالَ: اللَّحْنِ.
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, he said: Abu Dawud told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Muawiyah bin Qurrah, he said: I heard Abdullah bin Foolishly, he says: I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on his camel on the day of the conquest, and he was reciting: Indeed, We have given you a clear conquest. So that God may forgive you for your previous sins and those that will come later. He said: So he recited and returned. He said: And Muawiyah bin Qurrah said: Had it not been that the The people are against me because I took that sound for you, or he said: the melody.
