Hadith #48085
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَشدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا، وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا عَرَفْنَاهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ.
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, he said: Abu Dawud told us, he said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Qatada, he said: I heard Abdullah bin Abi Utbah, on the authority of Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was more shy than a virgin in her private room, and if he disliked something We recognized him by his face
