Hadith #52859
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: { مَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ صِيَامٌ صَامَ عَنْهُ وَلِيُّهُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 1952 )‏ ومسلم ( 1147 )‏.‏ " تنبيه ": الصوم الذي في هذا الحديث هو صوم النذر فقط، كما كنت بينت ذلك في كتابي " الإلمام بآداب وأحكام الصيام " الطبعة الأولى ص ( 65 ‏- 66 )‏.‏
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies and fasts, his guardian will fast on his behalf." Agree 1. 1 - Sahih. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (1952) and Muslim (1147). "Warning": Fasting mentioned in this hadith is only voluntary fasting, as I explained in my book "Comnitation with the Etiquette and Rules of the Roja", in the first edition, page 65-66.
