Hadith #52866
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-نَهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمَيْنِ: يَوْمِ اَلْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمِ اَلنَّحْرِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 1991 )‏، ومسلم ( 2 / 800 / 141 )‏ واللفظ لمسلم.‏
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (RAA) narrated. ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has prohibited fasting on two days; the day of Fitr (breaking the fast of Ramadan) and on the day of sacrifice ('Idul Adha).’ Agreed upon.
