Hadith #7616
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" غِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي الْمَشْرِقِ وَالإِيمَانُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ " .
And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim told us, Abdullah ibn al-Harith al-Makhzumi told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, who said: Abu al-Zubayr told me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Hardness of hearts and rudeness are in the East, and faith is in the people of the Hijaz.”
