Hadith #7635
روى عبيد الله بن معاذ الأنبري: حدثني أبي قائلاً: كتبت إلى شعبة أسأله عن أبي شيبة، وهو قاضٍ من واسط، فأجابني كتابةً: «لا تأخذ منه شيئاً [فيما يتعلق بالحديث] ومزق رسالتي [في هذا الأمر]».
Narrated by Ubayd Allah bin Mu’ādh al-Anbarī: My father narrated to me, he said: “I wrote to Shu’bah to ask him about Abū Shaybah, a judge from Wāsit, and he replied to me in writing: ‘Take nothing from him [regarding hadith] and tear up my letter [on this matter].’”
