Sahih Muslim — Hadith #7947

Muhammad ibn Salamah al-Muradi narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated to us, on the authority of Haywah, Saeed ibn Abi Ayyub, and others, on the authority of Ka'b ibn Alqamah, on the authority of Abdur-Rahman ibn Jubayr, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When you hear the muezzin, repeat what he says, then invoke blessings upon me, for it is..." Whoever prays upon me once, God will pray upon him ten times for it. Then ask God to grant me the highest station in Paradise, for it is a station in Paradise that is not befitting except for one of God’s servants, and I hope that I am that one. Whoever asks God to grant me the highest station will be entitled to intercession.”
