Hadith #1272
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ، لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ.
Musaddad told us, Yahya told us, on the authority of Hisham, my father told me, on the authority of Aisha - may God be pleased with her - that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was shrouded in three garments. There is neither a shirt nor a turban
