Hadith #1557
حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ قَالَ جَابِرٌ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلِيًّا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنْ يُقِيمَ عَلَى إِحْرَامِهِ، وَذَكَرَ قَوْلَ سُرَاقَةَ‏.‏
Al-Makki bin Ibrahim narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, who said: Ata’ said: Jabir - may God be pleased with him - said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered Ali - may God be pleased with him - to stay in charge of His ihram, and he mentioned the saying of Suraqa.
