Hadith #2699
Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Anbari and al-Hasan ibn Ali narrated to us - meaning - they said Ibn Numayr narrated to us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Omar, he said, his horse was gone and the enemy took it, and the Muslims defeated them, and he was defeated in the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. One of his servants stayed behind and went to the land of the Byzantines. The Muslims defeated them, but Khalid bin Al-Walid brought him back after the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
