حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَطَرًا الْوَرَّاقَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ عُمَرُ ، وَعَلِيٌّ :" الْوَلاءُ لِلْكِبَرِ "
