Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #56263

Abu Al-Numan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Saeed Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, who said: “Who Whoever recites ten verses one night, he will be written as one of those who remember, and whoever recites a hundred verses will be written as one of the obedient, and whoever recites five hundred verses will be written as one of the obedient, and whoever recites five hundred verses will be written as one of the obedient. In the morning he had a quintal of reward. It was said: What is a quintal? He said: “Fill a bull’s musk with gold.”
