حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ فِي الْمَذْيِ الْوُضُوءُ وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ.
Ubaidah bin Humaid told us, Yazid bin Abi Ziyad told me, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said I was A man had an intercourse, so I asked the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, or he was asked about that, and he said: In the matter of pre-mission, there is ablution, and in the matter of semen, there is berwuduk.
