Sahih Muslim — Hadith #14355

Has told me [Harmalah bin Yahya] has told us [Ibnu Wahb] has told me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] has told me [Humaid bin 'Abdurrahman bin 'Auf] that [Abu Hurairah] said; "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has said about the signs of the Apocalypse; the Age (Time) feels close (short), religious knowledge is revoked, there are many disasters/chaos, stinginess is rampant and there are many alharj." The companions asked; 'O Rasulullah, what is Al Harj? ' Rasulullah answered: 'Murder.' Has told us ['Abdullah bin 'Abdurrahman Ad Darimi] has told us [Abu Al Yaman] has told us [Syu'aib] from [Az Zuhri] has told me [Humaid bin 'Abdurrahman Az Zuhri] that [Abu Hurairah] said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When the Day of Judgment is near, then knowledge will be revoked." -then he mentioned a similar Hadith.- Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us ['Abdul A'la] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam "When the Day of Judgment is near, then knowledge will decrease." -then he mentioned a Hadith that was similar to both of them.- Has told us [Yahya bin Ayyub] and [Qutaibah] and [Ibn Hujr], they say; has told us [Isma'il] namely Ibn Ja'far from [Al 'Ala] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] Likewise it was narrated from another route, and has told us [Ibnu Numair] and [Abu Kuraib] and ['Amr An Naqid] they said; has narrated to us [Ishaq bin Sulaiman] from [Hanzhalah] from [Salim] from [Abu Hurairah] Likewise it was narrated from another route, and has narrated to us [Muhammad bin Rafi'] has narrated to us ['Abdurrazzaq] has narrated to us [Ma'mar] from [Hammam bin Munabbih] from [Abu Hurairah] Likewise it has been narrated from another route, and has narrated to me [Abu Ath Thahir] has informed us [Ibn Wahb] from ['Amr bin Al Harith] from [Abu Yunus] from [Abu Hurairah] everything. he said from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam which is the same as the Hadith of Az Zuhri from Humaid from Abu Hurairah. However, they did not mention the word stinginess
