Sahih Muslim — Hadith #14896

Qutayba ibn Sa'id narrated to us (saying): Abdul-Aziz (i.e., ibn Muhammad) narrated to us from Thawr (this person is ibn Zayd ad-Dili), who narrated from Abu al-Ghays, who narrated from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you heard of a city that is partly on land and partly on the sea?" The Companions said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "The Day of Judgment will not come until seventy thousand people from the Banu Ishaq have fought over that city. When they arrive, they will descend, and they will not fight with weapons or shoot arrows. They will say, 'There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greater than all things,' and then one of them will fall silent." Sevr said: I only know that he said: "The side in the sea will fall. Then, a second time, they will say: 'There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greater than all things,' and the other side will be silent. Then, a third time, they will say: 'There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greater than all things.' The gates will be opened for them. The Muslims will enter and take the spoils. While they are dividing the spoils, suddenly a herald will come to them and say: 'The Antichrist has appeared!' And they will abandon everything and turn back."
