Hadith #37779
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ اَلْعِيدِ خَالَفَ اَلطَّرِيقَ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح لغيره.‏ رواه البخاري (986)‏، وله شواهد ذكرتها في "الأصل"، ومنها حديث ابن عمر الآتي.‏
On an 'Eid day, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) would return by a different road from the one he had taken when going out (for the 'Eid prayer.) .
