Bulugh al-Maram — Hadith #37910

Hadith #37910
قال: كنتُ خلف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوماً فقال: يا غلام! دافع عن حق الله يحفظك الله، واذكر الله تجده أمامك، وإذا صليت فادعُ الله، وإذا استعنت فاستعن بالله. [1583]
He said: I was behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) one day and he said: O boy! Defend the rights of Allaah, and Allaah will protect you. Remember Allaah, and you will find Him before you (your companion). And when you pray, pray to Allaah. And when you seek help, seek help from Allaah. [1583]
