Hadith #37946
كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يدعو قائلاً: «اللهم اغفر لي ذنوبي غير المقصودة، وجهلي، وإسرافي في العمل، وما أنت أعلم به مني. اللهم اغفر لي ذنوبي الخاطئة، وذنوبي المقصودة، وجهلي، وسخريتي، وما فيّ من ذنوب. اللهم اغفر لي ما تقدم مني وما تأخر، وما سررت به وما علنته، واغفر لي ما أنت أعلم به مني. أنت الذي تقدم وترجع، وأنت على كل شيء قدير». [1671]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to supplicate: “O Allaah! Forgive me my unintentional sins, my ignorance, my excesses in my actions, and those of which You know better than I do. O Allaah! Forgive me my mistakes, my intentional sins, my ignorance, my mockery, and such sins as are in me. O Allaah! Forgive me my past sins and my future sins. My sins which I have committed secretly and my sins which I have committed openly. And forgive me that of which You know better than I do. You are the One Who brings forward and You bring back, and You are the One Who has power over all things.” [1671]
