حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، إِذَا اسْتَجَدَّ ثَوْبًا سَمَّاهُ بِاسْمِهِ عِمَامَةً أَوْ قَمِيصًا أَوْ رِدَاءً، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ‏:‏ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ‏.‏ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، نَحْوَهُ‏.‏
Suwayd bin Nasr told us, he said: Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Iyas Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would find a piece of clothing, he would call it by name: a turban, or a shirt, or a robe, and then he would say: O God, praise be to You as You clothed him. I ask You for his goodness and the goodness of what was done to him, and I seek refuge in You from his evil and the evil of what was done to him. Hisham told us. Ibn Yunus Al-Kufi, he said: Al-Qasim Ibn Malik Al-Muzani narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is like that
