Hadith #47808
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الْبَسُوا الْبَيَاضَ، فَإِنَّهَا أَطْهَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ.
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, he said: Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Habib bin Abi Thabit, on the authority of Maymun Ibn Abi Shabib, on the authority of Samurah Ibn Jundub, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Wear white, for it is purer and more fragrant. And shroud your dead in it...
