Hadith #47850
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ‏.‏
Ibn Abi Umar told us, saying: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Musawir al-Warraq, on the authority of Ja`far ibn Amr ibn Hurayth, on the authority of his father, who said: I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, giving a sermon on the pulpit, and he was wearing a black turban.
