حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالُوا‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ‏:‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ الْحَلْوَاءَ وَالْعَسَلَ‏.‏
Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Dawraqi, Salamah ibn Shabib, and Mahmud ibn Ghaylan told us: Abu Usamah told us, on the authority of Hisham ibn Urwah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aishah, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, loved sweets and honey.
